AlergoMed de Costa Rica is a Comprehensive Allergy and Internal Medicine Clinic, where comprehensive and specialized care is provided, both for adults and children, in diseases such as asthma, chronic rhinitis, sinusitis, skin allergies such as atopic dermatitis , pollen, animal, food, medicine and insect allergies, contact substance allergies, urticaria and angioedema, among others.
In addition, we have immunotherapy treatments for both subcutaneous (injected) and sublingual (placed under the tongue) immunotherapy, with which the patient is tolerant to the cause of his allergy.
We have specialized training in drug allergy with which we are able to desensitize it or make it tolerant to the drug to which it is allergic and requires its strict use, as long as the reaction presented allows it.
Also, we offer a specialized consultation in internal medicine, which is a medical specialty that is dedicated to the comprehensive care of the sick adult, focused on the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases that affect their internal organs and systems, and their prevention. . This last specialty allows me to have a greater scientific basis for making differential diagnoses in my patients with suspected allergies.
