General Info

About me

I started my studies at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 1999 and graduated with honors from the master's degree in clinical psychology in 2005. I joined the Professional College of Psychologists of Costa Rica since 2002 with the code 2061.

Since 2005 I started my private practice, I currently work at the Hospital la Católica, at CETREC at the top hospital and at the Escazú momentum; providing psychological care for adults, couples and families. I give group therapy and I impart talks and workshops in institutions and companies both in Costa Rica and abroad.

I work from the rational emotional behavioral approach (TREC) and cognitive behavioral (TC). To do couples therapy I use varied techniques from other approaches such as emotion-centered therapy. I like to use evidence-based therapies to guarantee the person seeking help, measurable and observable results. I'm passionate about working with groups because I recognize that the group context itself becomes a protective factor for people.

I focus on the client, recognizing that everyone has the potential to fix themselves and that what they sometimes need is an accompaniment to be able to do it successfully.
